Natural Gas

The normal seasonal price pattern for natural gas is a decline from mid-June into mid- July followed by a retest of the low at the end of August.

Inventories build from April through November and are currently at record highs for this week of the year. Previous years with high inventories have produced significant lows in the second half of July; Jul-27-07, Jul-14-06, Jul-12-02 (Aug-09-02), Jul-16-99, Aug-28- 98 &, Jul-28-95.
